The Dollhouse Projects is run by Bridget Sue Lambert, an artist and master digital print specialist who has been collaboratively printing with artists for over 20 years. Bridget enjoys the challenge of applying her color management expertise to produce prints that draw out the best qualities of the work as well as using her experience and skills to help artists bring their ideas to fruition.
She received a Bachelors in Studio Arts at the University of Maryland, College Park and worked for Pyramid Atlantic: Riverdale, for seven years as Assistant Director and resident printer in Maryland. From 2001 to 2010 she ran AAGPA Editions, a digital fine art printing press in Annapolis, MD. From 2010 to 2011 she ran Furthermore Prints, a contemporary digital press in Washington, DC. In 2012 Lambert purchased her own large format ink jet printer and works out of her home in Washington, DC and from her studio in Arlington, VA where she was a resident artist at the Arlington Arts Center until 2016. Bridget also photos and prints her own work in which she constructs scenes that simulate the emotional and physical clutter surrounding romantic relationships as well as a woman’s relationship with herself. Fine art pigment prints are made on a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4000 44” large format printer with pigment inks on a variety of hand picked archival papers and media. Attention is paid to achieving the highest quality detail concentrating on tone, dynamic shadow and color accuracy.
